Picture
Picture
The cemetery at Le Paradis contains the bodies of 111 soldiers that have been identified and who lost their lives either in the massacre or fighting in the immediate area around the hamlet. There are also four members of the Royal Air Force buried there.

Le Paradis Cemetery is divided into two sections, both situated behind the parish church. The first section is the final resting place of local people and behind this is the war cemetery which contains the bodies of the 111 soldiers, four airmen and also a cross of sacrifice along with up to another 40 bodies that haven't been identified.
Below are the names of the 111 soldiers who have been identified and buried in Le Paradis Cemetery. Click on the names to open an individual page to each man with a photograph of their headstone and other official details. Many of the pages also contain biographical details.
