- Private Ernest Eric "Strips" FARROW - The man who missed the massacre.
- Sergeant Walter GILDING - Fought in the area and served the last meal to the troops
- Captain Nick HALLETT - Fought in the area and had the massacre reported to him.
- Captain R. J. HASTINGS - Attached to D Company of Second Battalion Royal Norfolks. Formerly of the Ox and Bucks Light Infantry.
- Major James "Jimmy" HOWE - Royal Scots saw action and captured at Le Paradis
- Private George HOWLETT - Saw action in the area and killed defending Le Paradis. Captain Long's batman.
- Warrant Officer William IRELAND - In the last mortar team defending Le Cornet Malo.
- Fritz KNOECHLEIN - The German SS Officer who ordered the massacre and was hanged.
- Herman LANGER - SS Officer thought to be involved at Le Paradis
- Sister MARIE-LAURENCE - The Nun who cared for Bert Pooley in Bethune Hospital.
- Corporal William George LOANE - Fighting around Le Paradis
- Captain Charles LONG - C Company of Second Battalion Royal Norfolks.
- Private Walter LYNES - Captured and taken prisoner after fighting in the area around Le Paradis.
- Private Leslie NICHOLS - Died in the massacre
- Private William "Bill" O'CALLAGHAN - The Norfolk soldier who survived the massacre.
